Great budget option — simple upgrade for exterior doors We used this door knob during a home update, and for the price, it’s a really solid option. It’s one of those easy upgrades that makes a door look more finished without spending a lot. Installation was straightforward and didn’t take long — it fit standard doors and came with everything needed. The knob feels decent once installed, and the key lock works as expected for basic security. It has a brass body with steel internal parts, which is typical for budget hardware.  The adjustable latch also made it easy to fit different door setups without extra work.  The only thing I’d mention is that this is more of a basic, budget-friendly option — it doesn’t feel as heavy or high-end as more expensive brands. Overall, a great choice if you’re replacing multiple door knobs or updating a rental and want something clean, functional, and affordable.

I installed this door knob set on a shed walk-in doorway. The mechanics of it works well. It’s very stylist. Durable and strong lock and knob. It was as easy as door knobs can be to install. Came with four keys. Great way with secure an exterior door. Works great.

*Edit - OK, I had to edit this because surprisingly it’s working well now. I deducted one star because I’d still think that the screws they sent were of inferior quality. That being said, it’s no longer sticking and it’s no longer meeting resistance when I turn the handle for the deadbolt. I don’t know why because this is literally the same day a few hours later. But here we are. I bought this to replace my old door lock after an incident damaged the internals. Aesthetically, it’s beautiful—matte black and goes really well with my house. But that’s where the praise ends. This thing is flimsy and badly built. The screws are super soft and strip way too easily. The bottom latch bolt (or whatever you call it) sticks around the halfway point, and you have to jiggle the handle to get it to fully retract. The deadbolt feels like it’s catching on something inside—like there’s mechanical grease buildup or rough internal parts—but you can feel it struggling when you turn it. Nothing at all like the name-brand locks. Save yourself the aggravation of trying to install this and then the additional aggravation of having to replace it because it doesn’t work correctly. Because that’s exactly what I’m about to do.

Can't beat this door knob for the price! Lowe's has black hardware for three times the price! These are solid, tasteful, functional and very easy to install! We bought two sets and have been happy with both.

Don't buy this. If you do buy it, don't buy it in black. It scratches. Buy I in gold/brass tone. I am so angry!!! I needed to replace an old, broken lock set on my front and only door in my condo. My handyman said to buy a lock and he will replace it. I bought this one, with his approval. He had to reschedule fixing my door from January until last week. AFTER THE RETURN WINDOW . The handyman isn't the problem. He replaced three of my neighbors locks. He said the doorknob was GARBAGE. DEFECTIVE. He couldn't install it. NOW I HAVE NO LOCK. I CANT EVEN CLOSE MY FRONT DOOR UNLOCKED. I can't leave my home because we my door will be wide open. The door knob is down scratched that it looks like someone already broke in. Such a nightmare My dog bites and my Smith and Wesson is more reliable than this garbage door knob. Thank goodness because anyone could push my door open. What a nightmare. I am put of pocket the cost of this lock AND the handyman fee (4x the cost of the lock). I bought this because I can't afford the $100 sets in the hardware store. I tried to install this myself unsuccessfully. I am sitting here crying. I can't afford to pay a handyman until next month. I am on a very limited income. I have been happy with the quality of Amazon Basics products up until now. This is what the door know looks like after the handyman gave up on it.

Its okay. Just tricky to work out exactly whivh way the screws go in. But onve they are housed youll realise. Oh. Its actually pretty easy. Lol

Excelente calidad bonito acabado y quedo exactamente en mi puerta

Jolie poignée d'une bonne grosseur jour mat. 4 clés qui ouvrent la poignée et le pêne dormant. Même barrure. On a quand même remplacé la plaque qui reçoit les barrures. Un peu mince alors on a pris des plaques industrielles. Vraiment un bon prix... je la recommande.

Cumple su cometido, mi hijo de 11 años me ayudo a instalarla y practicamente hizo todo el solo. Siguio los pasos que venian en el manual y se ayudó con videos de youtube pero la instalacion le resultó sencilla. Si un niño de 11 años lo puede hacer, cualquiera puede. Lo recomiendo para una emergencia ya que el diseño es algo neutro, con unos pesos mas puedes instalar algo mas bonito
