Orange Replacement Tips (2 Tips Per Pack) for use on All Stand-Off/stabilizers

The detailed instructions which are included say to soak the tips in boliing water so the expansion will allow them to go on the stablizer tubing, the equivalent of a press fit mechanically. However it appears that the fit of the tip on the stablizer is looser than the original design, and the tip can be slipped on will two fingers and almost no pressure.The result is that dragging the stabilizer tip across a surface in a way that pulls on the tip, as you probably will in manuevering the ladder, can pull the tip off. According to Murphy's law, this will happen at time when finding the lost tip is most difficult. To prevent this from happening (again) I put a couple of tiny drops of cyanoacylate glue inside the tip before slipping it in place. I also took off the remaining original tip and added a couple of drops of glue there too. This works well to keep the tips in place.
