Komperdell Expanding Nut Titanal 14mm 2pk

My wife's adjustable Komperdell treking poles would slip and shorten when she leaned on them. She's had them for years and uses them for our hikes in the Cascades. We thought we might need to buy new poles but these replacement nuts worked great and were really easy to install. Took about 5 minutes.Komperdell Expanding Nut Titanal 14mm 2pk

Not the right size...

I purchased two sets of these lock nuts, one for my EMS Alpinist and one for my wifes REI Ultra Light hiking poles - both made by Komperdell. The poles work like new and no longer slip when tightening. They came in the mail on time. I'd purchase these again.

Once I got the right size it worked perfectly. I didn't know there were different sizes when ordering and at first got the wrong one. I wish there was a lookup on the Komperdel or Amazon website....or maybe I just missed it.

I didn't realize how poorly my old pole nuts were until I replaced them with the new ones. This is OEM, so it works as well as you'd expect from the originals.

Worked perfectly, I now have a working staff!

Worked like a charm! My once useless pole is fully functional again.
