My go-to pasta!
This is my favorite bean pasta. Just the one main ingredient! It's high in protein, so I use in vegan dishes as a protein source. If I want to add more protein, I can but it's great and nutritionally balanced on its own. I've tried other types of bean pastas and they will get slimy or mushy when cooking. This past stays firm and cooks to perfection in about 8-9 minutes. The taste is great too. If you like whole wheat pasta but are looking for something with more protein, lower carbs and maybe even gluten-free, then try this one.

Eat bean pasta without guilt!
Amazing!! Pasta out of beans... it is so good, healthier than wheat pasta, and rotini is fun to eat. Almost has a nutty taste. I love them! I recommend cooking longer than they recommend.

Clean, guilt-free and so versatile
This pasta offers all the loveliness of a carby pasta...just without the guilt! I must say though, this is a smaller box so you may use two boxes for one meal. I love how there's only one ingredient!! Also, this pasta is very durable. If you cook it q little too long, I haven't found it to get soggy at all. I can put this with a heavy meat sauce and it definitely stands up to it without breaking.

Love this stuff
After using this a few times, I actually prefer the red lentil pasta over the regular stuff. It has a mild taste, firm chew, AND it's gluten free, so good for my GF daughter. Keeps you full longer than regular pasta and better for you! PS chickpea pasta is aaaaaawwwwwful!

When we want pasta, this is IT!
We have been using lentil bean pasta for about 4 years. We tried garbanzo pasta, but the garbanzo flavor was not neutral enough. We find the lentil flavor to be neutral enough that anything that is mixed in with it (cheese, marinara sauce, chicken, tuna, whatever...) will dominate over the pasta. The only downside (besides being pricey compared to wheat pasta) is that it takes a long time to cook, and never really gets "soft". It gets to the firm end of "aldente". Perhaps if we were willing to cook it longer than 30 minutes it might soften up more, but aldente works for us. We are willing to pay a premium for lentil pasta because it is an inexpensive form of protein, and comparatively low-carb. We don't eat it all the time, but when we want pasta, this is IT!

Delicious
I prefer the taste of these to flour based. The only down side is they do take longer to cook. But it is worth the wait.

A bit different
Well... from a health standpoint... these are all you'd want. Taste is no different than "regular" pasta.. One thing... the consistency. not an issue... just a bit different. Maybe a bit "chewy" . No matter how long you cook it... seems to stay... "chewy"... now that's not exactly the word I want to use... but, it's close. In view of the health aspects... I will keep using this and other pastas of this type. Been using regular pasta for over 70 years... will take some getting use to.... but, it'll be done... benefits worth it. And other than the "mouth feel".... it's just as good an the other...
