I found it very useful then other local or china made shoes/ bootie available at Amazon. Before I brought it I tried a couple of shoes/ waterproof socks from locally made available here. Alas I have to return them almost next days after a trial. They are so ill fitted to paws; it came off almost immediately. Then I brought these two pairs of booties for my dog after long research and a lots of possitive reviews by its varified customers at Amazon and other similar intentional shoping sites. My dog is using those for a couple of weeks. She loved to play water sports. Here are some pros and dislikes about the booties I felt I should to share (though these are completely my personal opinions) Pros: The noticeable fact that I like most about the booties are 1) made of 100% natural rubber hence hypoallergenic to paws. Made in US. 2) A balloon like appearance with elastic opening sit tightly around the paws and not letting it come out alike others. Bottom balloon like parts gives adequate space for the paws to play comfortably during weight bearing (WB) posture when paws are maximally expanded. It is not causing any restriction during any activities like walking or running outdoor. 3) It is waterproof (?) Hence not allowing the paws to get darty during outdoor activity. 4) company provided a correct size chart for the customers. The size chart based on paw length which I feel is more reliable as paws width defer from front and rare paws of a dog. It is applicable with dogs' with claw toes (which I even not aware of the fact earlier). 5) the thin layer give them better grip and traction at outdoor and a feeling of walking on their paws, hence it will be a better choice for those dog who are using booties for the first time. 6) it comes with 12 pieces. Using in rotation will make it last longer. Dislikes: 1) the company claim that the bootie is waterproof! It is practically not. The bootie is ideal for muddy terrain or roads after light rain. It may be as well do well in snow but here in India which is irrelevant to discuss about. (As I mentioned earlier that my dog loves water sports, we use to take her to a pool at that time we preferred not to make her wear booties as the surface around is slipary made her lose her balace which causes vulnerable to injury. Last week we took her to a beach side where we found the water leaked inside the booties made it heavy and uncomfortable.) 2) it is defenetly a air proof hence after a long period of wearing these bootie may causing some uncomfortableness to dog as paws can't breath into the bootie at all. Hence idea of make it wear whole day long either indoor or outdoor is not recommended at subtopical hot climate counites like india. It should be removed immideatly after walk and wipe the paws gentle to dry off sweat is recommended. 3) as i mentioned before these booties only works for muddy rough (outdoor) surfaces/ roads. It won't protect their paws from any other hazzad alike exposer to hot surfaces sharp object like glass pices or rock pable or chemical exposer. These booties reduces grip and traction force indoor wet and slippary surfaces may causing risks of injury hence not recommended for indoor uses. 4) may get wear and tear from nails if not trimmed. 5) washing and drying out after use is troublesome for some dog owners as it is made of rubber, it sticked, which may reduce its longibity hence apply powder libarally after every wash is necessary. 6) spending a lum sum money to two pairs balloons is too much. In other countries it is sold as low as $6-8, but here it is sold such high price.

Super Schutz für die Pfoten. Nach Bandscheibenvorfall hat mein Beagle die Hinterläufe nicht richtig aufsetzen können und schleifte sie über den Boden. Wurde mir von der Physio empfohlen, damit die Pfoten geschützt sind. Halten prima an den Pfoten, ohne dass sie noch fixiert werden müssen. Sind stabil und können mehrfach benutzt werden. War dankbar über den Tipp!

I almost didn't get these because of some of the negative reviews, but I am THRILLED I did. The entertainment value alone is worth it... my dog literally PRANCES in these booties!! She doesn't care for having them put on, but once they are, she's like a young puppy with a new leash on life!! I let her out the door and she bolts for the snow and starts frolicking in joy. She's always loved snow but these booties seem to make her appreciate it even more, perhaps because it doesn't hurt her feet as much??? Then when she runs in these on regular pavement, the sucking sound of latex slapping the ground is hilarious! So I'm laughing, she's ecstatic, how much more joy can you infuse in an otherwise mundane and often tiresome event such as walking in cold wet snow to go poop?! Anyway, this morning was the last straw...my dog was so happy that I had to write a review. I'm really glad I got these overall - they have flaws, they're not perfect, but they're a good product and very good value. A few logistical comments for those who are looking for more than entertainment... - EASE OF USE They are definitely not easy to put on. My dog is long-haired (which is worse!) but she's trained to lift her feet for wiping off so I take advantage of that and can put them on by myself. It's like putting a sock on a wriggly baby - use both hands, front fingers to hold the booty open & navigate and back fingers to guide the paw. - SIZING My dog is a 45 lb terrier mutt. I got Medium and the fit is just ok. Apparently she has narrow legs because the booties stay on for about 5 minutes (probably because of all the furry hair to cling to) before stretching to the point where they fall off. So I can't use these for extended frolicking. But the amount of room in the actual paw part is generous. So for dogs who have narrow legs but big feet, the sizing will be difficult. I might go with a Small next time simply because of the width of her legs. Furthermore, they're too short. The booties are enough to protect the pads of the dog's feet and some of their "ankles" but no more. If the dog has long nails like mine, you'll get enough coverage to the top of the foot joint. Any leg/exposed fur on top of that is fair game for snow matting, which is my problem because she's long-haired...but since the product isn't marketed for this, I can't really complain (but Pawz, if you read this, I'm willing to pay a little bit more for longer booties.. hint hint!). - DURABILITY & VALUE As many have said, these are nothing more than thick latex, so long nails and other sharp objects will rip these. But each booty will last for 1-2 trips outdoors, and since the package comes with 24 and frolicking in the snow is generally not a rip-inducing event, I'm ok with the quality. - APPEARANCE What's there to say? These are balloon mittens for a canine foot. If you don't like the idea or look of your dog wearing thick balloons on his/her feet and you'll be embarrassed, don't get these. If your dog has self-esteem issues and hates looking silly, don't get these. But if your dog can handle them (or like mine, at least ACTS overjoyed when wearing them), and you either don't care how they look or get a kick out of seeing your dog act super-happy in them, then these are great!
