I don’t normally write reviews but this one deserves one. This matcha is not the best quality. The photos in the reviews showed a bright vibrant green color so I thought that’s what I was getting. To my disappointment, the matcha has an interesting smell, isn’t as vibrant, and also tastes pretty bitter. Be mindful that the size of this little pouch is that of a Swiss miss hot cocoa lol. I wouldn’t recommend.

If you use sugar the bitter taste goes away. There is no better matcha at this price. This is one of the best. The bitterness is its only problem and it can be fixed with any type of sweetener. Wild flower Honey is the best.

This matcha is like a hidden gem that is waiting to be discovered and once I tried it, I was pleasantly surprised.I've tasted matchas from different purveyors like Ito En, Jade Leaf, etc. and this got to be sitting somewhere up on the rankings.Matcha is definitely legit ceremonial grade and not like some other brands (not mentioned above) that markets their culinary grade matchas with words like "superior", "exceptional" and the like to try and make their matchas perceivable as something awesome but they are not.I rather liked this one better than Jade Leaf's (not saying that Jade Leaf's isn't great; just a personal preference). It has a touch of sweetness to it while Jade Leaf's is slightly bitter like how regular Japanese Sencha tastes like but in more concentrated and potent form. Depending on what your personal preferences are for your matcha, this one may/may not satisfies your requirement. But, that is okay, as drinking matcha is not merely for the health benefits but also to enjoy it.Good luck!

I truly have no complaints about this matcha. The color is perfect the flavor is great. It’s not bitter at all. I make a matcha latte with oatmilk and froth up some sweetened dairy free half and half to put on top. *chef’s kiss*

I love this matcha! It doesn't have a bitter flavor like others I've tried. It's creamy and natural tasting. It is expensive, but you get what you pay for in terms of quality. I look forward to having this every day!

This is a very good matcha for the price. It blends and aerates very nicely.. The flavor is good, but not at the level of the premium brands. A little more bitter and less umami flavor, but I am being picky, for the price it cannot be beat.

Grassy aroma, blended easily and delicious!
