Fenestrelle Adjustable Window Screen - Large

Easy to install. Works perfectly for most window sizes. Sturdy and durable. Does not look cheap or gaudily. Great deal for the price. Will definitely be purchasing more. I’d rather buy and use these rather than replace or repair the old broken screens.

These work wonderfully in our old home that the screens are no longer usable or are missing. This fit securely in the window so we can get air to flow, but can keep the bugs out. Great quality and are easy to put in and remove.

I was impressed with the high number of ratings with 4+ stars. In spite of some reviews, claiming that these are cheap and break and do not work, I went ahead and ordered them based on ratings. I’m glad I trusted my gut as these were easy to use, sturdy, and not at all flimsy like some people claimed I ordered the medium and they are perfect for all of my double hung windows. They’re easy to expand or contract on the bottom of the upper window fits perfectly over the top of these screens, which is important in Florida because of the bug situation. In addition, the gauge of the screens seem a bit finer, which can keep out even the smallest of bugs. Since they turned out as great as I had hoped they would, I just ordered two more sets.

I am very happy to say, this screen fits nicely in place in my double hung windows. Just FYI, when you are attempting to measure your window opening, except for the custom made screens which are super expensive, this is the ONLY one I found that has the correct thickness to slide into the existing tracks on my windows. All the others sit/rest outside of the track. This one fits inside the track just like the original screens which is how it stays in place. The screen material itself is not too dark and easy to see through. The screen replacements arrived quickly and were easy to install. You just open the window, slip one side into the window track, then extend the other side to slip it into the opposite track. Nothing to screw or adjust, you just slide it in. As far as the height, I needed 18" . This is more like 21" high and I was worried it might be too tall, but because of the way it slips into the tracks, it is perfect that it extends slightly above the window so no bugs can get in. (If you get it too short, there would be a gap). This is perfect because it covers the gap. I previously had full screens on both my front windows. I have window boxes outside of these windows and wanted easier access to tend to the window boxes. This was the perfect solution. The sides slide easily and would also be easy to remove if you wanted to take them off for cleaning. Although these were not the least expensive replacement, they are exactly what I needed because of the thickness, so much better value that custom made and received much faster than I would have with custom replacements. I will definitely purchase more of these in the future now that I know they are the correct thickness to slide into the original screen track.

Screens fit easily and securely in windows. Find alignment when expanding or reducing width to be smooth and easy with no seizing or jamming when installing or removing from windows. They look sleek and not obtrusive once installed. I highly recommend Fenestrelle Expandable Window Screens.

I wish I had bought this sooner, it works great. I’m using it on a horizontally sliding window (see photo). The product description said this setup was OK, but I didn’t see many reviews showing it used this way, so I was unsure. I was worried the screen might slide down since it sits vertically, but it’s light and the window pressure keeps it firmly in place. One reviewer mentioned using a binder clip, but I didn’t find that needed at all. There are also almost no gaps for bugs, which was another concern before buying. If you’re extra worried, you could add weather stripping, but the built-in brush edges do a solid job. It works well for what I need. Some people don’t like having to insert and remove it each time, but it’s light and compact enough for me to store behind a door or under my desk. Easy. Looks-wise, it blends in so well it almost feels built in. Most people probably wouldn’t even notice it, which is a plus.

Great screen solution. Lets in breezes. Sliding size for an easy fit. Easy to install.
