5-star movie collection. Good quality films (great picture & sound) in streamline packaging, better for the environment and easier to store, and a good mixture of his films, some very rare to find in region 2 format - all under £3 each. Buying them individually, providing you can find them would cost above the £8 mark - so it really is good value. The films are: "jailhouse rock" "it happened at the world's fair" "kissin cousins" "viva las vegas" "girl happy" "harem scurum" "spinout" "double trouble" "stay away joe" "speedway" "live a little love a little" "charro" "the trouble with girls" "Elvis, that's the way it is" Last note on the films themselves; whilst some of his films had critical acclaim, such as 'jailhouse rock' and others dismissed as awful, remember, Elvis didn't make any more films. Good or bad, daft or funny, they somehow created their own genre in the 60's meant for light entertainment as the "carry on" films did in their own way. So, they are special! If you go along with them, and as an adult (not a teenager) you'll see what a truly great entertainer he was - and a great comedian!

To think that Elvis did recorded live performances on TV in 1956 and 1957. Then nothing until 1968 for his comeback special. So in the interim all we have are his movies. Even though most of the scripts are flimsy, it was great just to see Elvis, whose charisma lit up the screen. And most of the films were just light hearted entertainment, not meant to be taken too seriously. This is really good value for money and a nice collection for Elvis fans to have.

14 films for twenty quid is tremendous value for money, especially as the packaging is also good. The films vary in quality from the usual lighthearted Elvis fun to the occasional turkey, for example the Arabian fantasy Harum Scarum which is bizarrely awful (or awfully bizarre). On the whole, though, a great package if you like Elvis.

This is a great collection for the price when you consider that most single Elvis dvds sell anywhere between £5-£10 & here you’re getting 14, I know a few of these films are no great productions & Elvis hated doing most of them but I still enjoy seeing Elvis & the songs & the dancers doing their 60s dance some good ones though still like jailhouse rock, viva Las Vegas, girl happy & the great That’s the way it is ( the new ish remodelled version, I like both ) There was a couple I hadn’t seen before that’s what prompted me to buy it out of curiosity really & like any true Elvis fan you want to see anything you haven’t seen Elvis in before like rare photos/recordings or whatever. Packed in a slender box each dvd case holds 2 dvds in a thin case, yes a nice little set pleased with purchase.

Schade, leider sind nur 5 Titel deutsch synchronisiert: Live a little Love a little Charro Kissin Cousins Girl Happy und Stay away Joe Für die anderen 8 bzw. 9 gibt es auch keine deutschen Untertitel. 1 DVD ist mehr eine art Doku. Nur 2 Sterne, wegen der fehlenden Beschreibung, Bildqualität ist dafür gut
