After upgrading my amp to a Denon X1700H to add Dolby Atmos, I installed ceiling speakers (Pyle) and decided it was time to replace the speakers that came with my older receiver. I opted for the Klipsch Black Reference Theater Pack 5.1 Surround Sound System, and despite their compact size, they were a tremendous upgrade.However, I wasn’t completely satisfied with the center speaker’s performance. While the rest of the system sounded fantastic, movie dialog wasn’t as clear as I’d like. To compensate, I had to increase the center channel volume by +3.0, which wasn’t ideal.That’s when I decided to try the Klipsch R-34C center speaker—and I’m so glad I did. At its current price, it’s a fantastic deal (likely due to being replaced by the newer R-30C model). The 5-inch height was a perfect fit for my TV stand, and it completely transformed my movie-watching experience. Dialog now comes through crystal-clear, even during action-heavy scenes, and I no longer need to tweak the center volume.While I still highly recommend the Klipsch 5.1 Reference Theater Pack as an excellent starting point, upgrading to the R-34C center speaker takes the entire system to another level without breaking the bank. If you’re looking to elevate your home theater setup, this is a no-brainer upgrade.

The center speaker of my 6 channel Bose surround system needed an upgrade. And what an upgrade it is. Compact, Crisp, clear, and loud. Voices are amazing. Great sound quality! I love this speaker 🔊

Clears up the dialogue....not 100% but did a reasonable job

Great Sound QualityI was very impressed on crisp sound quality. The sound fills my living room perfectly. Instillation was a breeze with the quick twist speaker wire clamps on the back. I also love the magnetic speaker cover. This is a must by product and the price was right for my budget.

The center channel speaker is just as described. Size was perfect for my situation. Strong clear midrange sound for vocals and dialogue without any muddiness or distortion. Matched it with same brand tower speakers and together it seems to produce a nice soundstage. With my amplifier, the sound quality seems better when the volume is higher. Perhaps a higher wattage better quality amp would produce a similar result at lower volume settings. Overall, very happy with the speaker for the price.

I replaced my original center speaker that had two less woofers in the hopes that 1) certain instruments would get more definition and 2) that background sounds would be more noticeable. Upon initial implementation, the speaker was somewhat muddy in sound, but as I had read from other reviewers claiming a break-in period had improved sound quality for the channel, I practiced patience. After some fine-tuning of my overall soundscape, and moving into my third week following purchase I have noted:Immediate better drum presence, particularly the snare; bass drums sound punchy, other bass instruments have more clarity; additional sound effects are more clear and in some cases even newly discovered; vocal quality is improved overall. Please bear in mind this is from an audiophile standpoint, although video sound is certainly more crisp, what little I have reviewed. I am well satisfied and if there is to be continued improvement, I certainly won't complain.

Amazing build quality and sound quality worth putting in your system
