I will give 5 stars still because it is as advertised AND my daughter has played with it..... a lot.......too much.. the pain, the horror. It's actually shoved under a bed right now, in hopes she never discovers it again. I got her this parrot by accident. I didn't know it imitated people. I just thought it talked and said it's own words and things. I don't know, ok, she said she wanted a parrot- I ordered the first one I saw. Once it arrived, she was obsessed. She wouldn't let me shut it off. I can still hear the weird voice of this parrot imitating my every sentence. It's funny and cute at first.

My husband had emergency eye surgery the Monday evening before Thanksgiving. He has to wear an eye patch for a while. Once he got past the "Life sucks" phase, he started laughing at pirate jokes on Zoom calls.So I was ordered to get him a parrot, a plush one, he could tape to his shoulder. I ordered one. And then I saw this one. We are the kind of lunatics who liked the singing fish and also a sunflower that sang "You are my sunshine" so I ordered one of these.Shipping was important because my husband wanted to debut his parrots this week on video call.My husband liked all his parrots but this one is his favorite. This parrot now announces when dinner is ready and what we will be eating. We have are having fun with it. We particularly like when it picks up laughter and laughs at us.Simple pleasures for simple minds! 🙃

I got this for my grandson, but I have to admit playing with it for half an hour before I wrapped it. It really does flap its wings and repeat whatever you say, in a funny parrot voice. My grandson was over the moon. I have to admit, it can get a little bit annoying, especially if a lot of people are talking at once. We adults reached a tipping point with this little guy, but the kiddos never tired of it.

I purchased this as a Gife for my granddaughter. She just turned 4 and was not able to hug her as this pandemic. As we talked on the phone I ask what she wanted for her birthday she said a parrot. She wanted a live one but both she and her 8 year old sister love it as well as mom and dad

The media could not be loaded. My parrot loves his new “friend.” We call him Tucker. Cracker Jack gets to spend a couple of hours a day with him to whistle, sing, and repeat each other. Really fun to watch and listen to. Will buy again when CJ chews him up. 👍

Compared to the funny apps that repeat what people say, this is VERY far from where the apps are. The parrot does not repeat words but intonation without the ability to repeat the words that were said. Otherwise the parrot is cute. Just expensive without the main function of repetition. I will give it as a gift and will not provide extra batteries in the package because I'm pretty certain that function will not be used much...
