An absolutely wonderful resource!
I too am a Christian who suffers with OCD - and how comforting it is to know that not even a debilitating mental disorder and the lies it puts in my head can separate me from the love of God! I highly recommend this workbook to anyone!

easy to understand
As a registered nurse, I appreciate the simple, easy to understand, explanation of what OCD is, and how to approach it from a Christian view. While there is a chemical, scientific dynamic, the author explains in simple terms and diagrams what is happening in the brain of an OCD person. He gives strategies to overcome the obsessions and compulsions that many struggle with. He gives personal examples from his own life that others can identify as challenges they perhaps face. And all the while offering a comprehensive workbook to explore and work along with the topics in each chapter. I would have liked for the book to not have ended abruptly; I would have liked a last chapter to pull together the threads of the book and give a brief overview. But all and all, a nice book and helpful to many who apply the Word of God to their lives and seek healing through it.

Good Christian Approach to OCD
This is not a long book, but it packs a lot of information and ideas into the small space! The book is written with intent to help OCD sufferers who are teens through elderly yeared people. It read like a workbook and has exercises throughout. These lessons will help someone become closer to Jesus while also learning to manage the life-long struggle with OCD. Practical applications, deep study thoughts and helpful connections between what one’s goals are and how to get there without the undo stress of constantly being invaded with intrusive thoughts. I have used this book with teens, young adults, adults and elderly and it has been helpful for all of these groups ( I am a therapist). I wish this was available on an e-book, but the soft cover I did get is fine for now. Laced with Christian ideals and mores, if you are a Christian or a newly to the Christian Faith, ANDy you have the very upsetting life with OCD, this short book can really help!
