Very good deal. Good price in exchange of hundred of pages. Maybe the only small complaint is the size. A few inches bigger would have been perfect.

This is personally my favorite book in a long line of vintage Archie Comics collections. The book is thinner than I thought but that must've been because so the book can be easier to hold on your hands. This book has many of the stories from the old Archie Americana Series 1940s Books 1 and 2 and 1950s Books 1 and 2. This has many stories with "firsts" for the Archie universe as well as a foreword from Archie Comics' editor Victor Gorelick and an introduction by Paul Castiglia. This book also has info about the history of Archie Comics along with facts.In the end, this is a fantastic book.

I especially like that the origins story is included. Archie and the rest of the kids look a bit more like their age group than the more modern comics. The artwork is clean and clear and although it's in a smaller format than originally published, it is very readable and can be enjoy even by someone with less than perfect vision. :) . Highly recommended to fans of all ages.

A look back at they way it used to be. Classic.Nicely bound collection. Definitely a keeper.
