Crosley Furniture Tara Wall Mounted Bathroom Storage Medicine Cabinet with Shelves, Vintage White

This piece looked like exactly what we needed in our grey themed bathroom. But nowhere could I find a review of anyone who had bought this. I feared it was poorly made or not made with quality materials, but it matched what we wanted so well I decided to order it anyway. It arrived and I was amazed at the quality of the wood pieces and overall construction. Every piece was labelled and the parts kit had all the parts in separate sections on the blister pack (plus an assortment of spare parts in case you lose something). It was a kit of course but the instructions were extremely thorough, easy to understand, and written by someone who is a trained professional in this area (with English as the primary language). The interlocking mechanisms were very effective and did not require tools. Literally the only tool required was a Phillips screwdriver and an included hex wrench. Working carefully and methodically I put it together in 45 minutes with no uncertainty as I followed the directions. All the pieces fit together precisely; all holes aligned perfectly (including pre-drilled backing board).To match our decor I will be swapping out the antique bronze door pull and knob for brushed nickel but that is no big deal. One thing ou need to be careful about during assembly. When installing the fixed shelves that have latches, make sure the latches are on the shelf side toward the floor. If not assembled that way the drawer will not close flush to the front face. The Crosley manufacturer can be proud of their badge on the inside of the drawer.

Extremely well-made, heavy cabinet. Fairly easy to put together with clear directions. However, mine had a few chips on the top portion of the cabinet even though it was packaged well. Also, the doors are uneven, they are off by about 1/2 inch which I'd fairly noticable to me. For the price, I expected it to be nearly perfect. It's not, but it's a beautiful piece with lots of storage. The drawer is a great addition. Keep in mind that the depth is wider than a usual space saver cabinet, which is awesome for storing towels and larger items, but it goes beyond the toilet tank and your back and head will touch it while sitting down. Overall, I'm happy with this piece. It looks really nice added great storage to my small bathroom. I got the vintage gray which is a pretty light blue-gray. Wish it was just a little more affordable.

I love this over the toilet cabinet. This is my 3rd and final purchase of this type of bathroom organization furniture. Thank the gods because I hate putting these together. My first one was good. It was large and stored a lot of stuff and looked okay and then the door broke off. Bought another one from a different brand and it wouldn't fit over the toilet. @#*@*! Finally splurged on this one and I'm so happy I did. Spending an additional 50 bucks on top of the price of the others for a sturdy piece of actual bathroom furniture is well worth it. Color is perfect. It's roomy and proportioned well. Yes, this thing has a very strong smell coming out of the package. It smells like wood stain and I'm sure it's terrible for you. I would recommend opening it in your garage or somewhere away from the family and pets and let it off gas for a few days before putting it together. I didnt do this by the way. I got a little high from the fumes unfortunately. But, I've been working on my home for awhile now so this smell is nothing new. It's the smell of wood stain and whatever protective coatings that were applied. It will dissipate. If you're the sort of person who cannot deal with strong orders like this I suggest getting someone else to put it together for you or maybe refrain from this piece. But if you want a beautiful, sturdy over the toilet organization piece and you know what it's like working with these stains and treatments, this is for you.

This was a lightweight particle board cabinet that was very easy to assemble but had a very poor paint job and an odd configuration to attach it to the wall. The mounting hardware looked like a French Cleat, but the edges were rounded, not sharp, thus defeating the French Cleat structure. Since my contractor was doing other jobs around the house, I asked him to mount it to the wall. He cautioned me to return it, as it wasn't great quality, but I said that I was only going to put lightweight items in it, such as toilet paper, cotton balls, etc. Today I came home and the entire cabinet had crashed to the floor, taking with it, my glass scale, a very expensive candle as well as damaging my toilet and scratching my marble floor. For the price, I expected a lot better and wish I had taken my contractor's advice and returned it.

I bought this for our babies bathroom and it’s perfect. Very sturdy/solid pieces and not difficult to put together as long as you don’t mind a multi page manual lol! Even my husband was impressed I put it together without his help! :)Looks really nice as well!

This product did look good on the website. It took three people to assemble. The quality of the prefab wood and the plastic connecting bolts leave much to be desired. I’ve washed this unit three times with a damp cloth according to instructions and the paint/dye has worn off. I’m amazed it’s still hanging on the wall based on the gaps between the locking bolts. The mirrorIs cheap looking. Don’t buy this please it’s not worth the money.

I put one of these in every bathroom. Love the color. Easy to hang. Great storage and pretty classy looking. I did use some wood glue and clamp it in a couple areas where it wasn’t totally flush and let it dry overnight...just for my peace of mind. But, for the price I think they’re great.

Antique white finish looks cool. Assembly and mounting are quick and easy.

The cabinet is easy to assemble, no screws, only dowels and locking mechanisms. I liked that part. It was disappointing to find out that 2/3 of the cabinet is particle board squeezed between two sheets of veneer. It was advertized as wood. There were some minor chips in the paint that were an easy fix.

Arrived ahead of expected date in good condition. Easy to assemble.A great storage cupboard.Very happy with the service and product, would purchase again.

Holes for wooden dowels were too big and loose to fit. Very in sturdy and a chip in one of the corner of the boards. Keeping cupboard but worth the money but too lazy to send back.

We do like the looks of the cabinet. The material used is NOT Birch plywood. It is "OSB" like, similar to "particle board". Should not be used in Damp environment ! The special "LOCK HARDWARE" should NOT be turned too often, as it could wear out the hole it has to "lock" in. The 2 shelves provided could have been an inch "deeper" ca. 25 MM. There is enough room for the doors to pass to allow this. It would add greatly to the storage inside the cabinet. The Unique "Hanging bar" provided is great for hanging the unit, although I added 2 additional wood screws at the inside bottom to provide more vertical support . Just to be on the safe side. It is great that the producer provides some Extra pieces of hardware.The seller has been great in their support to solve the problems.Thank you !
