Great shipping and comic, but you should know...
Deadpool Kills the Marvel Universe was a great read. Smart, well illustrated, and very bloody. However, things my fellow Deadpool fans should probably know is, it's not the same kind of Deadpool we know and love. It's different from most of the other Deadpool comics because our Wade Wilson has been brainwashed and in turn lost his comedic aspect. It's a very dark comic with only comedic relief toward the beginning before he's changed. In addition: when I, personally, saw the title "Deadpool Kills the Marvel Universe" followed by it's enticing front cover of Deadpool with a bloodied blade and Hulk's head in his hands, I automatically thought that the whole thing would be him actually fighting and taking out each hero, one by one. Unfortunately, I was wrong. Although he does fight some of them face-to-face, Deadpool mostly kills his victims by catching them off guard, using science, magic, or some kind of contraption to kill them. And the ones he apparently did fight with are shown dead (decapitated, stabbed with knives, bloodied on the floor) but not the actual fight. He only truly fights two or three heroes. I was thoroughly disappointed in this but I have always wanted know how truly deadly he is and this comic displays it. If you're looking for straight-up non-stop Deadpool vs. every hero one at a time, this isn't it. However, if you're looking for Deadpool outsmarting his opponents and fighting some of them, it's a great comic. As far as delivery, it didn't take terribly long to get here and the comic is in mint condition. Also keep in mind it is not the longest graphic novel out there. Easily finished in one sitting. Despite some flaws, I was entertained and I do recommend it.

Fun Deadpool What if...
I loved this comic when it came out, this was an immediate pre-order, as soon as it hit Amazon. I love the character, but there has been some attempts to make the character less dark and more goofy/crazy recently. I'm thinking of Deadpool Corps and Way's run on the current book here. Unlike a lot of the hard-core fans, I actually don't mind that take on Deadpool, but I miss the old, darker, but still funny Deadpool from Joe Kelly's run. This book goes further than that, making him the total villain that Marvel would never dedicate a full time series, or a movie to. Warning, spoilers ahead: My main complaint about this is that it was over too quickly. He takes out the Avengers in like 5ish pages, and the battle with the Fantastic Four isn't shown until the very end of the fight. I mean, he kills everyone, everywhere, but it's a four comic series. The ways he takes out the various heroes, with only the power to heal himself (but much more quickly than ever before) are clever. I liked the explanation on why he starts killing everyone, Psycho-Man trying to brainwash him, too. There are aspects of this book that hint at more going on, the new voice in his head was well done, actually. Taskmaster was great, and the reference to the Power Pack and the scene with Professor X were chilling but kinda fun. The tone was well handled. The art is clean, but there isn't a lot of motion. It feels like a series of stills. This is one of the darker books I have read, not for the kiddies, or if you need a happy ending/closure or anything other than what the title tells you. But if it sounds good to you, this is a good buy, and a good price

If you love Deadpool and the Marvel Universe
If you love Deadpool and the Marvel Universe, you'll love this.Playing off Punisher Kills the Marvel Universe this runs Deadpool through the same gambit of killing everyone. The plot is extremely interesting and while some reviewers claim w/o spoilers that the ending 'has been done' ... sorry it's a great spin. I always enjoy 'what if' type stories, and it's interesting to imagine how who would fight/kill who. This book skimps a bit on the how who would kill who. There's a few deaths off screen where we don't quite see how it's done. They get some Omega levels out of the way for reasons. And even that isn't really a strong criticism, as they're limited in space and time and in some instances imagination is more interesting. And they DO cover plenty of the deaths and exactly how Deadpool goes about it. What Deadpool is wearing during his fight with Wolverine still can make me laugh so hard I practically cry. This is actually one in a trilogy. The ending of the trilogy IMHO is meh. I enjoyed this book the most, which is self contained and you can walk away. I'd recommend the other two only if you're a huge Deadpool fan, there's plenty in it to make it worthwhile.I'm limited with physical space so I'm very picky about what physical books I keep. This one is a keeper and one I've already reread to my enjoyment.

I found it shallow and pedantic!!!!😒
I’m pretty forgiving when it comes to bad stories, however there was no storyline. I just can’t see what all the 4 star reviews are about. This was pretty boring and not entertaining. I really wanted to like this story but I just couldn’t wait until they were both over so I could put it in my collection and never read it again! Waste of time and money in my opinion. 🥱

Amazing! You should buy!
This is a great read, it came in not damaged and it isn’t a short read, it’s a long, but a very exciting an interesting adventure! You wish you never would want this journey to end! And a ton of surprises! 100% recommend for anyone that likes Deadpool or marvel in general!

Great read!
Great read for marvel fans and deadpool fans. It's got alot of dark humor but if your like me it's fine! The book contains both deadpool kills the marvel universe and deadpool kills the marvel universe again. So your essentially getting two full stories in one comic book!

Heartwarming
I read this on kindle, it took less than an hour, during this time I had crumpets, Columbo was on but I’d seen it before, my housekeeper was rumbling around the gaff cleaning, I enjoyed it but I would have enjoyed it more if I had seen all the killings rather than just heard of them as an aside. I’m writing this because kindle wanted a review and I was too lazy to figure out how to not do this. I hope the film will be funnier.

Looks like a good read
This book isn't intended for myself but just from reading through the first couple pages of the novel. The colours POP. The story is engrossing. It's everything you want in a graphic novel. It's alot longer a book/comic than I thought it would be which is a bonus!Only downside it the way it came packaged meant either before it was dispatched or through postage the corners of the comic were all bent or blunted when I actually revived it which takes away from it athestically.

Don't take it too seriously
This trade paperback collects Deadpool Kills the Marvel Universe 1-4 and this is non canon story that is meant to be both funny and violent/ horror story. Basically the premise - and I won't go into spoiler territory - is that Deadpool goes on a killing spree and proceeds to methodically kill off "all" the characters of the Marvel Universe. In some ways, the book is disturbing through random acts of violence, it doesn't have much in terms of plot but if you don't take it seriously it's a decent read. I enjoyed the way it ends, it actually provided a good conclusion to something that seemed to be going nowhere.

Good gift!
It's a fun comic, I'm not going to give away all the details as that ruins it. The artwork is decent, the story is fun and if you love Deadpool, Marvel and just dark comics in general, then it is a good read. I gave it a a gift to my partner and he thought it was great but needed to be a longer story.
