Great storage for pastels! I have several brands that all fit-Blick, Sennelier, Terry Ludwig. Drawers will slide all the way out, so you can move them around if you need to. Well made and sturdy. Very happy with it!

I'm really thrilled with this Mega 10-Drawer Stackable Artist Wood storage box. I've organized my drawing pencils and colored pencils by color. The drawers will actually hold two layers of pencils if you really need it. My only concern was not being able to see all my pencils easily, so I used Posca markers to indicate which color was in which drawer. The drawers easily pull out and go back in, so when selecting colors for a project you can very easily pull your pencils. (I keep my less expensive pencils in the rounder on the top for my grandson to use). The drawer slides aren't completely perfect so if you pull it out crooked it does stick a little. But as long as you pull straight out and back the drawers work perfectly smoothly. I've been looking for something like this for a long time for my colored pencils. So happy to have found it.

Although a little pricey these drawers are perfect for someone looking to get their mess of art supplies organized. The unfinished wood look is a bonus, as I feel It will only gain charm with use and accidental marker/paint/ink applications. The drawers ARE big enough for thick markers like copic and ohuhu. You can get 22 of those large sized alchochol markers per drawer (so 220 for the 10 drawer double decker) Thinner items like pencils or normal sized paintbrushes can stack a little and fit even more. There is definitely a risk of splinters, so be careful if you run your hands along the deviders, but the stack of drawers is very stable and it's heavy enough you'd need a monumental effort to accidentally knock it over. I will probably buy more as my collection grows.

Good quality for the price. Drawers slide well, are interchangeable. Dowels do keep 2 layers stable. Perfect for colored pencil storage. There are a few rough spots, easily resolved with sandpaper. The gap between the 2 units is a bit of a waste of space, but I think this allows for flexibility to sell units separately, so probably keeps price down. I think the drawer dividers add stability, but fewer would be better, or some could be movable. For anyone wanting to store colored pencils, these do accommodate 2 layers.

I felt the need to come back and update this review. Although I'm still keeping it five stars I don't need to change anything with that I wanted to give you some insight. Number one yes your drawers will stick. No you do not need to sand down your drawers to make them not stick to each other. Just swap the position of the drawers. You'll find one that works without pulling out all the other ones. Number two yes the dividers are glued in that's not necessarily a bad thing I'm not sure why people would view that as negative but it's very easy to remove the dividers if you really need to that bad I actually added more dividers by just glue in some popsicle sticks The reason why I need more section is because I don't store my colored pencils in here anymore I store drill bits, in one drawer, various types of staples in another drawer, various size Allen wrenches in another drawer, screw gun tips in another drawer. I have to be honest I have never found a better storage solution for those types of tools. At first I was a little worried about moving my color pencil somewhere else because this really is a great storage solution for colored pencils and paint brushes But I decided to give it a shot because I needed something for my tools or at least you know the various accessories for my tools From the very first day I put in my drillbits and Staples and all that stuff it was obvious that this was one of the best decisions I have ever made regarding storage solutions. I know that's kind of a weird sentence and probably seems a little bit preposterous but I promise it was almost an instantaneous sense of accomplishment I still have like the drill bits that I keep in my tool bag and the drillbits they keep on the side of my drill and all that but for like extra stuff for stuff when I can't seem to find the right one I know exactly where to go to and it fits perfectly. I've got 10 drawers Filled with impossible to find stuff if you're not organized I threw some labels on the front of the drawers and honestly I've never looked back. This is truly a magnificent storage solution when it comes to the various bits and Alan wrenches and things like that In fact it so perfect I believe this should actually be marketed towards that space because I think they would honestly change the game a little bit

Oh my goodness! A fabulous way to organize your special art markers and pencils. You can easily just pull out one drawer all the way if you need. I love how organized my child’s markers and pencils are now. Fantastic storage for art supplies. Stackable. Sturdy. Not heavy. Holds ALL pencils, markers, crayons, pastels, brushes, erasers. This storage box is wonderful for a desk, art studio and any artist would probably like a box like these to organize their charcoals, smudges, prisms color pencils and little gouache tubes.

This was a great purchase that I agonized over for a few weeks. The drawers were not long enough for my acrylic brushes (13-14") or deep enough for ink pots, but I was able to stash just about everything else. My grandkids call it the "surprise!" box because they don't know what they'll find in the drawers. I've also gained one large shelf and extra space on my desk by organizing with this box.
