Nissin Demae Ramen Straight Noodle Black Garlic Oil Tonkotsu Flavour Instant Noodle 186g

This is a great ramen. Cooking was no more difficult than any other ramen. Very flavorful but balanced soup. Loved it. The noodles had a great texture balancing substance and lightness. Entirely worth the price.

If you don’t like fired noodles it would be good option:) but it’s little bit pricey

I love the small size packs of Demae Ramen Black Garlic Tonkotsu but I just couldn't seem to get on with these. The noodles were cooked, the correct length of time but were all slimy and chewy. I read that this can be caused by cooking them in a pan that's too narrow and that it can also help to rinse them in cold water. So, the next time, I cooked them in a wide frying pan and rinsed the noodles in cold water and used separate water for the broth but they still turned out exactly the same. Really didn't enjoy the noodles and I actually didn't enjoy the broth flavour so much either.If I had more packs, I might tinker some more e.g. a proper ice bath for the noodles, but I don't, so I'll just stick to the smaller pack that seems to be a bit more forgiving to cook (and significantly cheaper).
