eoocvt V4 Bestlap Lap Timer Infrared Ultrared Racing Track Professional Receiver Beacon Transmitter Stopwatch for Car Karting

I am a mechanic at a indoor kart racing track.. This is a great timer that is accurate and has about almost 50 ft range.. Our track is about 20 ft wide and it has never not picked up a lap that I know of. Get a second one of the these and use the extra beacon for sector timing !!!!! As a mechanic I just made a little bracket to mount the timer on. Then it can just slip on and off any car I want to time or tune without setting up races on the main system.. Great Item !!!! I would give it a 6 if I could !!!

Lap timer works well, wish the mounting spots were a little larger for bigger zip ties. As my buddy said, "Chairman Mao is less Chinese then this thing, but it works." Great for the money and good basic motorcycle lap timer.

This one did not work. I just had an opportunity to try it.

Used this in my street stock around a 3/8 mile track gave me accurate times compared to the track timing system. Great for when I needed to test the car with no help.

I purchased this to use on my dirt bike on a motocross track. First one I received had a bad LCD, which was disappointing but Amazon returns are as easy as it gets with having ups pick it up from my house. Received new one within a couple days and it works really well. I was worried about the range of the receiver to transmitter but a long as I get with a foot or so it picks up every time. I do plan on doing some more testing with the receiver and transmitter at different angles to each other as the directions don’t show the ideal orientation. Right. If I mounted the lcd on my bar pad and have the sensor running down my right fork tube and zip tied to my forks with the sensor pointing straight down. I then place the transmitter on he dirt with the little lights facing the track and am setting this up in a slower right had turn. I believe I can get better range if I mount the receiver up off the ground some so it’s closer to same height has the sensor in my bike but have not had a chance to experiment yet. Will update this with pictures once I get a chance. Overall I am satisfied with the lap timer. What I also like is even if I don’t set the transmitter up you can just use the lcd without the sensor and push the buttons t start time and do laps just as a normal stop watch and the screen is big enough that I can take a quick look down over a jump and see my time. Would definitely recommend this timer to others since it’s relatively inexpensive compared to other devices that do same thing.

3 stars..came in with scratches on the screen and previous times. Could be good though. Looked used and didn’t come with a frequency. Returning the one I got and will do a second review when I receive my second one.

Pretty pleased with this timer. It does what it says it does. Very affordable considering what high end timers cost. The only reason for 4 stars is because of the range of the infrared. On some laps it doesn’t always pick up if I’m too far to the side. But considering the price, I’m still very happy.

Arrived scratched with previous times on it.. as someone else mentioned it's obviously a returned one. It works as it should. I had the cheaper one before and this one having the memory feature is way better than having to write down the best laps each time. Also disappointed in the misleading pictures... It does not have a backlight function as far as I know.. and it's not mentioned in the instructions eitherSo seems really pricy for being scratched/used and with out the simple backlight function so I can easily see it in the dark
