Just what I needed
This meets my need well. I live in a small retirement cottage and the only table is my dinning room table. So I have to be able to take my puzzle down in progress and store it away. The felt roll has limitations, but after some practice and planning, it works well for me. Here is what I have learned from using it:1. It takes time to roll and unroll and is best done by an adult. If you work on your puzzle in short periods of time, you won't like this. I usually work on my puzzle for about 2 or 3 hours once a week. So spending a few minutes getting set up and putting it away is fine.2. It works best on the parts of the puzzle that are finished, not the loose pieces. I went to a party store and bought cheap lightweight plastic serving trays that I use to lay out the loose pieces. I can sort them by color on the different trays and the trays stack for easy and compact storage. I especially like the trays for a big puzzle so that I don't have to bend over a large table looking for a piece; I just go through my trays which I can do from one seated position.3. Try to place the puzzle so that it stays about 3 inches away from an edge on the felt. Pieces very close to the edge are more likely to fall out.4. Roll the puzzle tightly. About midway across the puzzle, some parts of the puzzle may begin to buckle (especially border pieces in an unfinished part of the puzzle). Just separate the pieces and let them overlap slightly as you go. It will be easy to reattach the pieces when you unroll it.5. Unroll very slowly. A few pieces will stick to the felt and you can nudge them off with your fingers as you unroll.6. Iron the felt when you take it out of the box the first time to flatten the creases. After a few uses you won't be able to see the creases at all.7. The roll can be stored vertically or horizontally if it is rolled tightly and you don't leave a lot of loose pieces in the roll.

Great price for a great product.
I absolutely love this product! I love putting together puzzles, but I tend to take my time doing them, little bits at a time in between college work and working full time, so they are in the way a lot. I was originally going to buy a fold up table that I could just put in my room while I'm doing puzzles, however, I have limited space in my room and if I'm working on a big puzzle, it could be out for a month. So I didn't want a big table taking up that much space for that long. While searching I came across this and it's absolutely perfect. Just what I needed. There are different size mats, but I wanted to get the larger one because sometimes I do very big puzzles. This pat is good for 1,000-3,000 piece puzzles. It stows away great without having to worry about a puzzle being in the way of anything. When you unravel it, the pieces don't stay perfectly together, you may have to push them back down, but it only takes a few minutes. The pad itself is a felt type of mat, so you won't have to worry about the puzzle slipping or falling out after it's rolled up. I would recommend this to anyone who enjoys doing puzzles, but maybe has roommates and doesn't want their fun to be in the way or difficult for others. Or, if you are like me, and take your sweet time doing a puzzle and don't want it to be in the way, this is perfect. Considering a lot of the tables I looked at that would work for doing puzzles were $50.00+, this is definitely a better (and cheaper) alternative. I would also recommend getting this one instead of some of the smaller ones. Maybe you don't do big puzzles right now, but you may in the future, so you might as well get the biggest one so you know it will never be a problem.

It's big
Well it is big enough for the 2k puzzle that I'm working on and work as advertised. Only issue is the bands are sewn shut so you can't easily get the middle one on without squeezing the rolled up puzzle. The smaller one of these uses velcro band that would be very nice for this one.

It is pretty simple to use and does it exactly what it's ...
I purchased this for a 3000 piece puzzle, which I have now been working on for about an hour a night for a week. I have a small apartment and I am not able to leave this out for a long period of time. I also have two cats, so, of course, they want to lay in the middle of the puzzle, whether I'm actively working on it or not.Pros: It is pretty simple to use and does it exactly what it's supposed to do. Bonus that the felt keeps the pieces from sliding all over the place. Rolling the mat makes storage pretty simple and my cats can't get to the pieces. I would guess this would also be a plus for someone with small children. The mat will also make transferring to a frame quite simple.Cons: Rolling the mat causes the pieces to buckle and come apart. I think most people put the outline together first, which was what I did. After rolling it up for storage and rolling it back out to work on, I spent a few minutes putting the edges back together. After getting several sections together, rolling and unrolling becomes a bit of a chore because the buckling causes the pieces to come apart and I'm pretty sure that I had to put some things back together that I had already done. I think that maybe once some more of the center is filled in that this will not be as much of an issue. For now, it's just mildly annoying.I think the issue I have with this could easily be resolved by using a larger inflatable roller. A wider cylinder diameter would allow the mat to roll with less buckling in the pieces. It may also help the stability when there are fewer pieces in use, such as only the outline. I'm not unhappy with the purchase, I'm just not ecstatic about it, either.

I guess this is good if we ever do a larger puzzle
First thing, this mat is HUGE. But all the other ones wouldn't fit our 2000 piece puzzle. We're using it with one side folded in 1/4 of the way. I guess this is good if we ever do a larger puzzle. A couple things though. The felt is folded in the box so there are super creases in it. I'm sure we can iron them out but we already started the puzzle so we're too lazy to do it now. The plastic tube thing is really hard to blow up manually. I used a balloon pump which worked wonders, but if I had to do it on my own, never would have happened. And we have a dog and cat that both shed a lot and the felt just picks it up so much. But really I guess that's our fault. Overall, the mat is super helpful so we can puzzle at night after our two puzzle piece eating children go to bed.

Don’t trip over it it’s big
It comes folded up so you have to let it settle for a few days to be flat! Otherwise works well

The other half was actually great for folding over the top and covering up what ...
Works as advertised. ended up using it for a completed puzzle to get it out of the way and had no problem rolling it up around the provided blow up tube. The blue mat is huge, was working on a fairly large puzzle and only used half of it. The other half was actually great for folding over the top and covering up what had been completed and the loose pieces so my 2 year old wouldn't get at them without having to actually roll the puzzle up and move it.Only suggestion would be to make the elastic straps a little bit tighter, I did find after having the puzzle rolled up for a little while and standing on one end everything had slid down to the floor. Still wrapped up and intact, but on the bottom of the roll.

Great!
I really like this - it’s good quality (which is expected from Ravensburger) and not too thin like others. I fit a 3000 piece Ravensburger puzzle easily! To those who say that the puzzles stick to the felt fabric - that’s the point! It prevents slippage and keeps all your pieces where you left them when rolled!
