2026 ezPaycheck Payroll Software for Small Businesses

I didn't use any tech support - but I did need to make a journal entry into my Mobility software - I wished it had a few more options in paying an employee without tax - but its a canned package and it able to meet my needs so far. Definitely need to have an accounting back ground to make it adaptable - heads up. thanks Beth

Ok, I began running this software in June of this year (2016) and this is what I have so far. I am using this to print Payroll for 3 separate businesses with no problem, it's simple. The software prints very professional checks with a small amount of set up time for each business. I should point out that this "set up" is a one time job. Also, I am confident in the Federal Tax calculations as I have checked, double checked and triple checked these numbers. I am giving ezPaycheck 4 stars for now. This could go to 5 stars depending on how the NJ Quarterly Tax payments go. With the 'export to Excel' option, and some very minor excel programing I expect the State Filing to be smooth. Chas A

I purchased the ezPaycheck Payroll software from Amazon. The DVD-ROM was sent to me and I installed it on my computer but it wouldn't open. After running the troubleshooter I discovered that the version I installed from the DVD was for Windows XP (Service Pack 3). I cannot believe a company would still have this version on their shelves much less mail it to a customer.

Not very user friendly.

Directions are lacking. Glad I had only one employee with which to work. I made an error on time recording pay per hour and could not find an edit to correct the error. When I trust it accumulated pay and error summary. I had to delete everything and learn from my error. Documentation did not provide instructions. Get what you pay for.

This is difficult software to use, not helpful for small businesses.
