I have pretty sensitive skin, and this soap has worked really well for me. It cleans without drying my skin out or leaving that tight feeling. The scent is very light and not overpowering, which I like. It lathers nicely and rinses clean. I’ve been using it for both hands and body with no irritation. Overall, a simple, reliable soap that does exactly what it should.

WOW! THIS IS THE B.E.S.T. SOAP!!! I have been in any extremely cold & moisture-sucking climate for 10.5 years. My hair & skin have suffered from dryness. BASIS, WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN?! I noticed an incredible difference in my skin after one use. I did not have to rush for lotion & oil afterward, and the moisturizers lasted for hours without added oils. Now do me a favor, please don't triple your price and reduce your very satisfying product; and I'll sing like a lark about your virtues to everyone I know. My skin's softness has returned with this basic white soap. The bar has a rich lather that washes away cleanly, no soap scum hanging around the drain. This soap is for sensitive skin so it has natural ingredients that leave a subtle clean scent on your skin which doesn't bleed through a body oil or parfum changing the quality of other products. My new go-to cleansing bar for face & body!

Been using Basis for over a year and a half already, that I have to hide it from family. I think I have reviewed this product before about a year ago and I continue to pack this 6 pack about once a month to replenish my stockpile of the soap. A little background, since a child, I have had sensitive skin. I'm a light skin Hispanic and unlike my mother who is slightly darker, I've always had dry skin problems like my father from my face, arms and every where else. Its always been uncomfortable experience as I had to heavily rely on moisturizer and I had to stay away from certain bars growing up. So a few years ago I decided to shop else where to find brands I couldn't find locally, which lead me to Amazon. I bought and tried several non familiar brands and eventually came across Basis mostly because of the positive reviews. For me, Basis has been a blessing for my skin. the fragrance isn't to strong but does have a nice mild scent to it which makes it pleasing when taking a shower. I never feel like I have a lot of residue yet it lathers excellently on my skin. I never itch after walking out of a hot shower and my skin feels good. I use to rely on Men's Dove when it hit the market about 4 years ago, give or take but it was still drying out my skin and I always felt a residue on my skin afterwards. not with Basis vitamin bar. As of now I cant see myself using any other bar. Its to the point that when I travel, I always pack a bar with me, where as before I would enjoy using the boutique hotel brand bars of soap that I even took a few of them with me home. The only one besides this soap bar that I still use actually from a hotel (like Neutrogena does for Hilton Hotels) is H2O products when I traveled and stayed a in Florida at the Disneyworld Resorts yet I have nothing bad to say about H2O and their products except that buying from them is extremely expensive. Basis is the best of both worlds for me as far as having a good quality bar and at affordable price when you compare it to other high end soaps and some other boutique brands. ***Update September 2018. its been a good 3 and a half years since my review, and its STILL my Go To Bar. I'm still using Basis Vitamin Bar religiously. I got married in 2017 and since my mail and deliveries still go to my parents address, I've found out that my family had been stealing my supply. Which is fine because it made them fans of the Basis bars. My father is a retail pharmacist and some of the grocery store pharmacies he worked for in the past use to carry Basis products but that hasn't been the case for many years. My mother is a fan of both the vitamin bar and the Sensitive white bar. Prices on Amazon fluctuate between $11 to $14 for the pack of 6. So I have to regulate my orders of the pack of 6 to once a month since I also use body washes as well.

My skin is so sensitive that this is one the few soaps that I buy. Great price. Great product.

This soap is perfect for sensitive skin! There is no nasty harsh fragrance that is repulsive to me like so many other brands and it lathers up good and lasts a long time. I love it!

Bought a 6 bar package of this soap to begin using as a replacement for the Jergins soap that I have used for many years. This Basis soap seems very similar. Not much scent, provides some lather, is gentil to my skin, and wasn't too pricey when I purchased it on 1/4/26. But when I came back to buy more after using it and finding out it is a nice replacement for the Jergins that no longer seems to be available the price on Amazon has risen from $8.93 for (6) 4-oz bars to $11.82 for the six bars. That's a 32 percent increase in a couple of weeks. Is that rational???? So I can't give it a 5 star rating.

These bar soap are awesome. It can be used to wash basically everywhere on the body (probably with the exception of hair). Glad that there is not much of any scent. I feel like it cleans really well while still being gentle. Soap is nice and hard.

It’s gotten harder to find this soap in my local stores anymore so I was elated to find it on here in a 6 pack. It’s fragrance-free and is easy on my face.

Excellent service and products

It's my bath soap. No residue on skin after shower. Skin don't feel dry after shower.

Was nervous about purchasing this but so glad I did! The soap smells great & not overwhelming! My skin was extremely dry , this has helped a lot! Will purchase again

This is my second order of this 6 pack soap. They are extremely good if you’ve dry hands and having to constantly moisturise your hands. It reduces the itching although I found when in the depths of the winter months you will still from time to time ( it every day) moisturise your hands but the soap helps.
