Great size, not one of the really tiny board books but not huge either.  I love this story and I love reading it to my toddler.  The fox eats the gingerbread man at the end but not by crossing the river.

I bought this to read to my class as it is often impossible to find in the local library.  It is a fun retelling of the story and the students really enjoyed it.
