This product has a more nitrogen than the other Down to Earth products. Tomato’s require more nitrogen. You can use this fertilizer for any other plants also. **Q: Will this dissolve for hydroponics?** A: I wouldn't use any solid or dry form of fertilizer in a wet system. I use a SIP system, self irrigated planter. The roots can grow past the cloth medium into the water reservoir below. My SIP uses coco to hep wick water below into planter container. The SIP has a float for gravity fed water to ensure reservoir stays full. If I were going pure hydro like a flood and drain I'd make sure I am pumping oxygen into my reservoir and I would use worm castings leachate to feed the plants. But I don't care for pumps that can fail or electricity that goes out, that's why I stick to my SIP. **Q: is this better than biolive for tomatoes? (in containers)** A: Id add some bio live to this nutrient as well. Helps the roots, soil diversity. The myco will eat up excess nutrients. Symbiotic relationship. **Q: Whats the application rate for indoor plants? ( dracaena, snake plant etc) only shows it for veggies and outdoor plants.** A: 1) You didn't read closely enough. 2) The other answer is wrong. 3) For new plantings the rate is 1 - 2 TABLESPOONS (not teaspoons) per gallon of soil. 4) For established plants lightly work 1 - 2 TABLESPOONS per gallon of soil into the soil surface during growing season. 5) These answers brought to you, courtesy of literacy and paying attention. 6) Indoor/Outdoor, doesn't matter.
