The saw box is made of high quality ABS plastic but it is light weight so you have to fasten it to workbench or something heavy base using screws. Also we need to be careful when securing materials using metal champs, as it may break the box if over tightened. I will be pouring cement inside it to make it solid and heavy. I do wooden projects using plywood and this box helps to cut small boards and frames at 90 or 45 degrees easily. It also helps to cut pvc pipes when secured properly. A well made DIY tool. *by A***A on 30 March 2019* This is not for the professional since the hollow guide will not stand the rigors of hard use. But for the DIY enthusiast this is ideal and economical. The saw is extremely sharp and well made. It is sturdy and looks very durable. The box, however, is only made for light use. It is totally hollow from the inside so once you scrape out the grooves, there will be nothing left to guide the saw anymore. It is also very lightweight plastic. It tends to move around a lot with the movement of the saw and you need to either screw it down or use some kind of a G-Clamp jig to keep it steady. But for the price this is a very good deal.
