It starts from the basics such as what type of grill to use charcoal vs propane and how to build a fire and manage the heat. In addition to hundreds of recipes there are also instructions for marinades and dry rubs. The book is well organized and chapters are separated by type of meat, fish, vegetable, etc. Recipes are easy to follow and most have a mouth watering picture of the finished product on the page next to the recipe. I turned to the poultry section and there were tips galore on how to cook chicken.I went outside fired up the grill and implemented the new techniques. What happened next surprised me and my entire family. I made the most moist chicken that I've ever made in my LIFE! The chicken even retained the seasoning that I put on. I usually burn that right off too! I actually felt....proud.
