We have used a variety of manually operated telescopes in the past, but this one is by far the best in terms of locating, tracking, and for viewing objects.Set up is very easy, basically just set it up facing South, turn it on, tell it to find a bright object via the controller (like the moon), and it will get very close. We then fine tune the sighting and the GPS will keep it tracking. I looked in some other sites for the same model and it is more expensive, from $340 to $500. Some of the cons are that some parts feel little cheesy, but the optics is pretty decent. So overall I would recommend this telescope for anyone that is interested in seeing the moon, planets, stars and constellations with decent quality.
