They are really soft, a good assortment of types of brushes. They are really easy to clean. This brush that does not include a highlight brush, which is the only downside of this sad. They are durable, and come with a brush bag which I appreciate. As I said I’ve had these for years and I have never had any of them lose their bristles, I have had two of them on glue from the brush handle. But as I said I’ve had them for years. They are very pretty none the less! The hairs are really soft but they do seem like they'll probably be prone to shedding so you just have to be careful. Some of the brushes are a bit to long to have good control with the application though. If you pinch a bristle with your fingernail and your finger then you can rip it out. The color of the handle is a bit more purple than I would like. It looked like it would be white with a holographic shimmer overtop but really it's just a light purple with a shiny finish.
