It looks like leather and concerning the stitching, it appears to be well made, but the smell permeating this case reminds me of cheap "pleather". I purchased the case to fit a Parker fountain pen and was not disappointed; the pen slid in smoothly and fit comfortably in it's pouch. Appears to be real leather and the shiny black color is attractive. The one I received is exactly like the image in the Amazon Website. Seems to be well made and durable.2. What I especially like is that the individual sheaths for the two pens are large enough to accommodate thicker pens that even have ergonomic padding at their tips. I have returned other pen cases from other manufacturers/sellers exactly because the sheaths were too small and tight to fit the thicker pens.CONS:1.
