This works well for stir fry, soups and stews. The slight curve of the sides makes it very useful for scraping the sides of pots, and the flat angled end is perfect for the bottom of pots or pans. The melamine doesn't melt like  plastic utensils and handles can, and is stiff unlike silicone. I love it.
