Did take a while to get shipped to me, but that wasn't an issue. Definitely would recommend getting it. I've used it for both extremely hot tea/iced water and glass has been very durable. However, it does tend to get very hot even with the sleeve on if you have some hot water in it. I just bought a different sleeve at the store and I've been fine. It does come with a very rubbery smell, but that's easily fixed with soaking the bottle and cap. However, the little rubber seal easily falls out of the cap and that's a little annoying - might just be my bottle though. Overall I would repurchase this product in a heart beat! Make a mistake & just plop your bag or nap sack down on anything hard and this bottle will fracture. If your the type that is very delicate and careful or not on an urban run from place to place then you might be okay. I broke two of these bottles [one was my wife's] I bought them because they were cheaper than the Bromvital bottle. The Bromvital bottle is more durable and not too delicate or thin glass. The sleeve offers minimal protection. It is manufactured in Asia, either China or Korea. A simple Snapple bottle is 5 x more durable that this carafe.I understand I need to be cautious but both times the bottle was did not hit soemthing all that hard.
