However, so far, I am really impressed with the keyboard and I am currently regularly practicing on it. It's a great for a beginner and beyond, though if I continue playing, I may personally upgrade at some point in the future to the larger keyboard My only negative would be that if you play really fast, the odd key can stick a little, but this is not a regular occurrence, and this just may be a slight issue with my keyboard. Review: Combining quantity and quality for a great price - Purchased for myself, and after nearly two months with the product, I still find myself just as satisfied with it as I was on day one. There is a wide plethora of sounds that you can get from this, ranging from basses and brass to synths and sitars, each with multiple sub-presets of their own. There is also a full percussion board which can be used in conjunction with the recording function to create your own backing tracks if none of the 300 rhythms on offer please you. With the sustain, transposition and vibrato settings there is even more experimentation to be had. Tones that have been modified with these settings can be saved to memory, which saves time when looking for a custom tone. Volume control is good, and with the headphones jack you can always practice without disturbing others which is great. Some of the tones do sound very, very similar to others to my ears; and some are less useful for actual music making and more geared towards ambience, such as seashore or applause. It's to be expected at 300 tones but there are very distinct groupings of tones anyways, you won't be left wanting more variety with tones. The booklet that comes with the Keyboard lists all the different tones and rhythms so it's easy to navigate and find the tone you want. After two months I haven't noticed any decline in quality in regards to audio and condition so despite its relatively cheap price it is well built. All in all I'd say this Keyboard is well worth the money. The sound quality is as good as you’d want it as a beginner. It’s not touch sensitive (the harder you press the louder the note) but that’s to be expected with anything on the cheaper end. It comes with stickers for the keys as well as a long sticker you can put across the top that tells you which percussive instrument each key plays - if on that setting. Though they don’t seem to be too durable, after just an hour of playing the print is starting to rub off. I’m happy that the keys are solid blocks opposed to the flat ones as they give a better feel and just look better as a whole. Free month of SimplyPiano is also handy, found it so easy to remember sheet music and get used to 2 hand playing again super quickly.
