The zippper worked very well and made the boots easy and quick to take on/off. Didn't try them in water, but the lining inside the laces and zipper looked like it would keep the water out easily.I bought these boots just before leaving for a trip into mountains riding ATVs and did a fair amount of walking in them as well. They were pretty comfortable the first day and by the second day they had broken in to the point they felt like ones I'd had for years.I also tried some much more expensive brand name boots and they were not nearly as comfortable or flexible. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I can afford incase I was to step on mister rattler and loose one of my toes or feet ugh *by C***K on Reviewed in the United States on December 21, 2019* Took me a while to afford a pair of these boots and I plan on giving them the T.L.C they deserve and I'm going to bet that they will pay for themselves tenfold exp in the bad luck of stepping on a eastern diamondback while hunting or fishing or shrooms hunting these boots acually feel like they really would give you the best possible chance of getting through a fanged strike and still have a foot to walk on and that a nice insurance to pay for in my opinion. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Wow!
