I do have to charge it every other day. It is very easy to go between the beep, vibrate, and actual shock. There is a large range (0-100) for vibrate and shock.I would like to mention that I did buy the “beep only” type of collar a few months ago. That worked somewhat... however, still not well enough. Also, I liked THIS variety because of the rechargeable aspect. ### ⭐⭐ Cheap junk *by J***C on Reviewed in the United States on March 30, 2019* I just wrote a much longer review but chrome glitched and i lost it so here is a very abbreviated version. This is cheap junk. I didn't want to believe that it could be worth spending 3-4x the price on a device that did essentially the same thing but just using for 5 minutes I can now see what the difference is. 1. the item was defective - the 'minus' button didn't work so could not reduce the intensity of the stimulation and 2. level 2-3 out of 100 was a very strong stimulation that made my head move (yes, i tried it on myself and you should also!). level 2-3 was barely different from settings in the 20s - not how these are supposed to work. I just got my $180 device today (ecollar brand) and it is just clearly a very good and quality product. do your dog a favor and make the investment for a nice device. As time went by... he disregarded beeps. we moved on to shocker mode.
