I have looked for a rustic, manly, cabin-style comforter/bedspread for at least a year, only to be met with $300 - $400 price tags. So, if you've found yourself in the same situation and are disappointed because of the cost, chin up, because this product nails it. It is not thick like most comforters would be, so I would consider it a bedspread. But you can use comforters underneath it as I do to give it that full look. They've also really captured the rustic look with this pattern. The leaves, designs, bears etc. along with the rich greens, reds, golds and browns really set it off by giving it that 'nature' feel. It does not look or feel cheap at all as you might assume from the price and covers my King-sized bed very nicely, so I didn't see any need to purchase a bed skirt. I've literally looked at hundreds of bed coverings and in my opinion, this bedspread looks as good or better than any of those I saw for a much higher cost. (And the pillow shams are very nice also.) I'm glad I kept looking because I saved hundreds of dollars and am very pleased with the way it looks. It's just what I was searching for.
