Firstly I should say that I had to buy a PCIE card to add 1394 (Firewire) capability to my desktop link addedhttps://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B002S53IG8/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o08_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1The cable itself appears to be well made but I have an issue. The DV connector that connects to the camera is very tight. At first I thought that the camera connector was at fault, but I then connected a second DV camera connection and this was also very tight. So all I can say is be very careful. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Be aware it is a tight fit... *by S***E on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 27 June 2020* Someone else mentioned that this fits very tightly into the socket. When I received it I could not insert it into my DV player or DVD recorder socket - it seemed too big. But when I tried it in my DV camera, I was able to push it in. After that (maybe it got compressed a bit or maybe I just got more confident) I was able to insert it into the other devices. Maybe the angle is important too.
