Works well on CAT5E. I have bought three now and all work great.I am updating my review as I have suffered a massive failure on one of the switches. Used a temporary power supply with the same specifications but the unit did not respond. I contacted the Hiro Customer Support because the unit was under warranty. It failed after 5 months under a 1 year warranty. I contacted Hiro and found that customer service support is through an operator who claims that customer service will call you back. After three attempts to contact customer service, the operator arranged for a prompt return call from customer service. After discussing my troubleshooting with customer service, a replacement unit was shipped.
