This part is prone to slippage while the knife is in use, which could potential make the blade contact the palm of your hand. With the other knifes I have to find a blade, open the body insert the new blade. With these I simply move the blade forward and snap it off. Dont use your fingers to snap the blade as the risk is very high you will cut yourself. I use a pair of pliers to snap off the end blade.
