## Description

The WORX 20V shrubber/shear is designed to quickly trim bushes, shrubs, and hedges in-between regular maintenance, so you don’t have to get out the big, bulky, full-size hedge trimmer for just some touch-up work. At only 2 lbs you just grab this tool and go and quickly take care of that bush in the corner that’s looking a little shaggy, or those few blades around that tree that maybe got missed over the weekend. This tool is equipped with enough functionality, though, that you could use this as your regular hedge trimmer if you were so inclined. Featuring two quick-change blades: a 4” blade for grass trimming and an 8” blade for shrubs, with a max cut capacity of 5/16” and a no-load speed of 1100/min, there’s enough design and power to keep an entire yard looking crisp and clean. The dual-action blades slice twice, making sure to catch every leaf and twig. And the soft-grip over-mold handle is easy to grasp and use for extended periods without causing significant hand fatigue. This particular model doesn’t come with a battery, it’s meant for WORX PowerShare users that already have a few batteries lying around at home. See, when you’re on the PowerShare platform, you don’t need as many batteries, because you can share them between tools. This has been the perfect trimmer for when I need to do a quick touch-up but don't want to get the full-size clippers out. It is very lightweight but still has enough power to get through foliage and thin stems when using the trimmer attachment. The clipper attachment has a bit more cutting ability, and works well when cutting down perennials, or for giving an edging trim for creeping evergreens. I don't use it for grass trimming (use a string trimmer for that) but I expect it would handle grass and weeds very well based on how it has performed with perennials. Swapping the blades is simple but keep in mind this is not a heavy-duty machine. If you take care when swapping blades there's no issue with anything breaking. It uses the same 20v battery as other Worx machines. I have a few of those, so I got this as the tool-only version. The ergonomics are very good -- this is way more comfortable to use than other similar mini clippers I've tried. It won't come close to replacing a full size hedge trimmer, but it's effortless to use and a very good option for light trimming.

I bought this trimmer for trimming fern. Works great! I have a few WORX tools so I have 3 batteries. I trimmed several fern and the battery life is still on full. Don't force the trimmer. It will cut stuff by itself. Should last a long time if you take care of it. Well made.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Cuts well; solid tool; ok when cutting horizontally

Cuts well but when using larger cutters it’s difficult to hold “on” button & then try to twist hand & turn to cut shrubs. A bit tough on the wrist; must hold side switch “on” for it to run. Can’t lock in on position; good for safety but on switch has a slide action & a bit hard to slide & hold. It’s sturdy; well made; not too heavy; size is good The smaller blade is lighter & very EZ to use & works very good bcause it’s used horizontally unlike the larger blade which when used on round shrubs, is tougher to maneuver. Large blade is ok when using in a straight movement
