The bamboo portion of the lid seems glued on and therefore not very sturdy for long term use. The way the lid works is really weird, it screws in to the spout, with a rubber ring around the *outside*, between the lid and the spout. It doesn’t seem at all secure. It’s also very unhygienic since the part of the spout where you put your mouth to drink is exposed at all times, not covered by the lid as it is with most other bottles like this. It's surprisingly lighter weight than my 22oz Contigo (leaks after 1 month of use) and 16oz Corkcicle (expensive but really high quality). For you plastic haters, your liquids will not touch a plastic part.
