Screen resolution on my laptop changed, but thought it was just because I had connected it to an external screen. I couldn't get any picture on my external screen and when I removed the device, the resolution didn't change back. It wasn't possible to change it in the control panel.I went to the manufacturer's website and downloaded the latest version of the driver, but had exactly the same result. No output and screen resolution all over the place. I uninstalled the driver, still no fix.In the end, I had to get an IT company to fix the issue. I can't remember the exact fix, but it was something like reinstalling the graphics driver that was originally on the PC because this new software had messed it up.
