Both of these are very common in American hard candies and it does not concern me because of how processed these products are but, I am not a vegan, nor a vegetarian. The directions are to take 2 pills with a meal twice a day. I take 1 pill with a small low carb ,low fat, with a healthy protein. For breakfast I may have egg whites with spinach with a few grape tomatoes on the side and a couple of mornings a week I’ll have a half cup of steel cut oatmeal instead. And I kid you not I am not even thinking about eating food or waiting for lunch to roll around. For lunch I keep it simple, leafy greens topped with grilled chicken or tuna. I keep a bag of protein shake powder at my desk incase I don’t bring lunch, I’ll make a protein shake but I notice I have to drink another one a few hours later. Better to eat a “real” meal. For dinner I eat some baked/grilled fish/chicken basted in a little teriyaki sauce with a grilled or steamed vegetable. Can’t even finish it. I did experiment taking the pill without food, but it didnt work so well at keeping my appetite under control. Not sure why, but the pill worked best with a little food. I may eventually graduate to 2 tablets at one time but for now the 1 is working well. I also don’t get jittery when I take it. That’s one reason why I’m scared to take 2 at once. I have taken 3 spread out throughout the day like 1 for each major meal. I don’t snack much if at all in between meals. I wouldn’t say this drug gives me a great amount of energy but it does give me a feeling of well being and enough energy to do what is needed for the day. I’m not looking to be all over the place.
