I like the materials and design. One thing I would like are "D-rings" on the other side for the shoulder strap. I carry my tripod on that side and carrying it that way I like it to be on top. Actually I wish it was just slightly larger but, I took it on a train trip from St.Louis, Chicago, Milwaukee to Seattle and back and it worked great for what I needed. In fact all of this style that I could find on Amazon open this way. From the top of the pack. I looked all over for something similar that unzipped all the way around. You know, like a suitcase. This way it could open all the way up. The other area they should have put a bit more thought into was they way the laptop pocket is buried too deep into the main compartment. This makes it more difficult then it should be to do the TSA quick draw out of the pack and then back in after inspection.All-in-all not a bad bag for the buck. Oh yeah.
