So white it will be for the remainder of my projects. Review: This is a quality product and these sellers are very ethical. - I am the owner of an art studio and I frequently use venetian plaster in my mixed media work. I have used this product and these vendors before and they've always be reliable, affordable and great. The texture is excellent and the spreadability is very good. The last shipment however - was not so hot. The gallon was damaged in transit and delivered in a fairly disgusting state by USPS/FED EX combo effort. As an owner of several business, I realize these folks cannot be held accountable for the state the product arrives after shipping. I was concerned I was out $80 as there are no refunds but I appealed to them anyway to see what they would do. I am so pleased to say that this vendor understood my dilemma and took it upon themselves to refund the entire amount. You bet I will always do business with someone who dos the right thing! I'm looking for glass finished marble look. Any recommendations.** A: i don't know about wax, but the surface burnishes up by rubbing with a steel trowel to give that finish **Q: Hoping to put this on the exterior of our fireplace. Can it withstand high heat?** A: I wouldn’t think so I would run a test put it on a substrate and heat up something like apply small amount to parchment paper and place on a cookie sheet and put in the oven. My thought is that it will crack. **Q: Is this suitable for wet areas like tadelakt?** A: I have no idea what tadelakt is. Unfortunately, everyone I went to refused to tint it for me because they weren't equipped/familiar with how to tint this. They also stated they did not want to be responsible if the tint did not come out correctly. I have now passed the 30 day return policy trying to get this tinted and now the supplier is refusing to take my return request.
