It’s small, unobtrusive and so easy to use! I love the gold color because it matches my iPad beautifully. At the same time I ordered the gray one for my Dad and it is also very nice. The app that works with it is called PowerDrive and it is very straight-forward. It shows all of your files, you can back-up photos and videos from your gallery and add digital movies from your computer. I use it from my iPhone 7 to my iPad mini 4 and it’s seamless. Also, they have the best customer service! After updating my devices to iOS 11, I noticed some glitches when I tried using my drive, so I emailed customer service. They got back to me the same day, they were so kind and told me they were working on an update. Here it is only a few days later and they’ve already released the update. I tested it and it works perfectly. You can either - attach the drive, open the app and take photos from the app, or - take your photos to the phone and quickly back them up to the cardFor ease, I take the photos on the phone and then copy them to the drive before erasing them from the phone to save space. I cable is included so you can connect to your computer and copy or move the photos to your PC.I gave it four stars because the software is a bit clunky.I really like that there is a cover for the connector. I have another drive with no cover and I am loathe to leave it in my purse for fear of breaking the connector.
