Seeing the positive reviews for the Kimwood I jumped on board. The Kimwood is more expensive than much of the competition so I figured the cable would be higher quality and last longer. The sound quality is really good, brings out the full potential of my headphones as some of the other adapters distort the sound a bit, crystal clear at first. The problem is that I have had the adapter for a month and a half and it is having a slew of issues, these started one month in. One moment the sound will cut out and it will pause my music or podcasts, which is really irritating when I am working on something, and have to clean my hands before taking my phone out and resuming. Other times it will make my phone have a seizure and start changing the volume, pausing, playing, etc as soon as I put it in. Then I have to take the adapter out and keep plugging and unplugging it hoping it will actual work one time. If I walk by something and the adapter hits anything from within my pocket forget about it. These adapters are ending up costing me more than a pair of wireless headphones, which I think is the whole reason phones don't have a headphone jack in the first place now so you have to "upgrade" the headphones but I digress.
