The sign is made of a very solid plastic. It is very strong and durable. The hardware is also high quality. The maker did not cheap out here. The screws, bolts, and nuts are all stainless steel which means no rusting. The nuts are also locking nuts so they won't come off the bolts. Last, we paid the extra five bucks to have them install the numbers for us. I thought maybe that was a frivolous decision and, I was even a little embarrassed that I made that decision. I tell you what...I highly recommend anyone making this sign purchase to have them put the numbers on for you. It arrived looking as if it was manufactured specifically for our house. There was not a single bubble and the alignment was so good that it is not clear where the numbers are separate from each other. It comes with stainless steal bolts, Nylock nuts and wood screws. Installation is quick and easy. If you live in a "snow state" I would recommend that you mount this on the back side of a post facing away from the street. This will prevent it from being hit by a plow or snapped off by the thrown snow. I also recommend paying the extra to have the numbers installed at the factory. They arrived square and straight with no bubbles.The numbers are very viable from the street and will make finding your house quick and easy for both visitors and emergency services.
