I used it to make holes on my wheelie bins so that I could fit locks but the soldering iron tip won't make anything more than very small holes and the tip of it bent when I used it and is practically broken now. Also the iron was heating and then not heating. After inserting batteries, the cover would not go back on and it was guess work figuring out which way the batteries are meant to go in because the print indicating this inside the battery compartment is almost unreadable! I could make out just one minus symbol. Quite frankly, folks this soldering iron is a waste! of money. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Battery soldering iron *by A***. on 16 April 2023* This soldering iron works well, not sure how long it lasts yet as I haven't changed the batteries yet, i used it to solder about 16 LEDs with no problems, for home diy smalljobs I would recommend it.
