I backed the IndieGoGo campaign in Fall 2017 and unfortunately never received the perk I was promised even after paying an additional $50 via CrowdOx in January 2018 to ensure that my perk would be shipped to me. Hundreds of campaign backers cried out in anger as March 2018 and perks failed to be sent to backers as promised.These desks are fantastic quality. They're ergonomic, adjustable, and have features that most people shopping for a laptop portable desk only dream of. They're perfect for working from home, they're perfect for laptop gaming in the living room, they're great for typing up research papers, and they even hold your drink. However, we're not sure how these desks wound up on Amazon in the first place. All of us on the "AdapDesk Backers" Facebook group are scratching our heads over this.If you're an AdapDesk backer who never got your perk, this is literally the same product. The logos are on the backpacks and the boxes. If you're stubborn and really want that great unicorn of a lapdesk that you can never really find, this is it and this is the only place you can get it. If you're angry that the campaigns failed to deliver, you could launch an inquiry on this merchant's connection to that campaign. I read the 5 star reviews on this thing and was amazed by their detail and conviction. SO now I am one of them. This Laptop Desk gives me so many options for different positions. It is large desktop, solid, so easy to adjust and best of all some highly intelligent engineering went into this thing. Every detail is just right, and yes they sent directions in the box but hey this is as simple as a kid's toy to assemble/unassembled/adjust. I had it together in a minute and the paper went in the trash. THANK YOU SMART CLEVER KIND DESIGN PEOPLE. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ this is fantastic. *by L***D on Reviewed in the United States on December 19, 2018* i just unpacked and assembled mine, and i already love it so much that i ordered one for my dad, who's undergoing stent surgery in a couple of days, for his recovery time. he loves that laptop, and this should make his time much happier. why do i already love it so much?- it arrived quickly and undamaged.- every piece was neatly wrapped in bubble wrap but NO TAPE so no frustration.- zero tools needed to unpack or to assemble. not even scissors.- instructions are easy to follow.- the desk and all of its components are precisely crafted and feel very solid.- i can sit criss-cross applesauce or lotus position without problem (i have the wider desk, and it fits nicely on either side of my legs just above my knees; i'm 5'6" and size 12ish, so not super skinny).- even the bag is nice looking and good quality.Edited to add one very important thing: a large cat can snuggle comfortably on my lap beneath it. Or two small cats or a large number of kittens.
