    difficult to see picture due to hologram

I found this puzzle difficult to put together for my 4 year old. With the moving hologram pictures, you have to continually look at it in different directions to be able to put the pieces together. Several pieces were warped so they didn't fit together as well either. My son had a hard time understanding that the puzzle was together even though the pieces didn't all lay flat. He got more frustrated than anything else with that. The pieces are thick which is nice, but again most of them came warped/curved. This puzzle didn't last very long in my house.

My 3 year old loves this size puzzle and loves Lightning McQueen so I thought this would be a perfect reward for good behavior. Well It's a nicely made puzzle but there are 3 different images on each piece depending on how you hold it so it makes putting the puzzle together very difficult for him. We have stored it away for when he is older.

Now I see why this puzzle was on sale for $1.00 at Big Lots.  The surface of the puzzle is designed so the pictures change when you move the pieces around, which makes it very difficult to put together.  Also, some of the pieces are so similar in shape that they can fit in different slots, even if they're the wrong piece.  I wouldn't buy this puzzle again.
