The red welt is fraying, with threads hanging out. The welting has come off; on close inspection, the fabric that holds the stitching is under 1/8" wide, so the stitches are all pulling out. Add this to the short shoulder strap, and it is fair to say that I have been really cheated with this purchase. It will have to go into the trash, to be replaced by a name brand that I can trust.
