## Description

Product description Our V3.0 table is cut on a CNC laser out of 3/16" thick steel plate, formed on a CNC press brake and weighs in at ~ 18 pounds for ultimate durability. The Table dimensions are 9.75 tall, 11" deep & 13.5" wide. With the saw installed the overall dimensions are ~22" tall, 18" deep & 13.5" wide. This kit contains all the necessary hardware to attach your Portaband saw listed below to the SWAG V3.0 Portaband tables Milwaukee Deep cut model #'s 6230, 6230N, 6232, 6232-5, 6232.51 6232-55, 6232-6, 6232-6N, 6232-8N, 6236, 6236N, 6238, 6238N, 0729-20, 0729-21 Dewalt Deep cut model #'s DWM120, DWM120K, D28770, D28770K, DCS374, DCS374B, DCS374P2, DCS376P2 Harbor Freight Bauer Deep cut item #'s 63763, 63444, 62800, 1678E-B Makita Deep cut model #'s 2107F, 2107FK, 2107FZ, XPB02Z, XBP02TX, BPB180Z-18VOLT Bosch Deep cut model # GCB10-5 Home Depot WEN Brand #94396 Grizzly Tools Deep cut model # G8692 Note: The Cordless V28 Milwaukee saws will require a 1/2" spacer under the table legs to allow clearance for the battery pack. Here at SWAG our Portaband tables are built for individuals looking for quality, 100% American made tools. Designed for those working with limited space and or those looking to maximize the full potential of their hand held band saws. Product evolution and expansion has led us to SWAG Portaband table V3.0 which features built in dual miter gauge slides, bolt on 1/8" thick steel legs to greatly reduce shipping cost, a removable steel center section and an improved blade slot with narrower window to reduce potential blade binding. The SWAG V3.0 is compatible with all the different models of saws listed above. To convert your saw into a vertical band saw installation could not be any easier, remove the factory foot guards two or three screws depending upon model and reinstall the removable center section with the provided fasteners. With the SWAG V3.0 there is a thumb knob included in the kit. Insert the saw into the stand and install the thumb knob into the threaded hole in the removable center section. You now have a saw that performs two functions, a portable band saw and a vertical band saw that does not require any tools to switch between the two functions.

Review: Extremely versatile add on device for portable band saws!!! - I've had this little table for a couple of weeks now and have had some time to play with it. Oh boy, do I love it! I recently received my Incra Miter gauge and I can make cuts so precise now that I barely need filler rod when I weld the seams together! This is an extremely well-made, very functional table that only makes the portable bandsaw that much better. Honestly, who needs a big bandsaw when you have this? My first impression when I opened the packaging was that everything was packaged orderly and in different sub boxes and bubble wrap to prevent scratching I assume, but there was no issues with any of the hardware. The table was easy to assemble. If you can't figure that part out, you really shouldn't be buying this table anyway, lol. I bought the foot pedal option and my table is a V3.0 table. The saw I have is a Dewalt DWM 120. It's the only saw installation that I can verify, but I don't doubt the others will work just as well. I'd love to see a video of one of these tables being made. It's a sexy and sleek little table, for lack of better words. The cuts are made with a precision CNC cutting device, such as water jet or laser. They are flawless and I think it's a great touch that they went ahead and cut out the SWAG label on both leg sides. It looks marvelous and I'm really proud of my little fab table with the SWAG table on top. It looks like I mean business when you see it, which I'll attach pics. The bends also look like they were bent with a CNC machine. Highly precise and flawless, the corners are cut and bent together perfectly so welding them is not even required. I could never make a corner bend that would look even a fraction as nice as these, this table is perfection. Another really cool note is that SWAG also included a sticker, which I love stickers and it's always a nice treat to get a sticker with a product. I said earlier that I have a V3.0 table. I'm not sure of all the changes, but I know that this one is made so I can take my bandsaw out easily and use it as a portable bandsaw. I can even leave the SWAG base plate on, it's larger than the factory plate, but I don't think it would be a problem for most cuts that I've dealt with. Regardless, if I need to put the OG baseplate back on, it's two allen screws, real easy. So keep your original baseplate, just in case. One slight disappointment was the trouble I had in getting a miter gauge. I originally didn't want to spent almost $80 on an Incra, so I went with a lesser brand. It was to arrive the next day and I got a notification from desertcart that the package was damaged and would not be delivered. They gave me a refund, so I took that as a sign that I should just stick with the Incra V27. So I did that, but for the first couple of weeks, I didn't have a miter fence to help me. I kind of wish the table came with a miter fence, but I know that would make it quite a bit more. Maybe a suggestion would be to include a sheet that is an ad for the recommended miter gauge. I had to do some research to see what other SWAG users were using. The bottom line, I wouldn't recommend anything less than the Incra V27. It's not cheap, but it's very well built and you will get very accurate miter cuts with it. The foot pedal is amazing. I highly recommend going with that option. You can use it on other power tools also, but I've really found that it's at home with the SWAG table. This is more of an issue with the Saw, not the table, but my saw doesn't have a trigger lock. SWAG recommends a clamp, that's probably safer than what I did, but I just used a single zip strip to lock the trigger on. I'm not that worried about it, I have pliers nearby that I can break the tie. But if you were worried that you might need to release the trigger quickly, the clamp might be the way to go. Releasing the foot switch does the same thing as releasing the trigger. I mounted my swag table onto a plate, that is mounted in a track on my fab/welding table. I don't have a lot of room, so I'm always looking for ways to save floor space. I can take the table off, or I can rotate it as needed, the plate tightens into the track, so you can lock the table in any angle. I really like how it turned out. If you own a portable bandsaw, you owe it to yourself to get a SWAG table. It's an amazing tool that makes my life so much easier! Stuff We All Get!!!
Review: I like it. Using with HF 64194 saw. - I have a 4x6 horizontal band saw, so I never thought I had a need for these. But...setting up the 4x6 in vertical is a bit of a PITA, and the table is tiny and generally sucks, so I've only used it that way once. Saw a couple of YT people talking about bs tables, did some research, and ended up here. This table cost about 2x what the HF saw that I put in it cost. That said, the table is well designed, well made, and works. The setup isn't as nice as a full size vertical band saw. But it's something like 1/6th the cost of that, and it's completely functional. If you're doing metalworking for profit, you'll get laughed out of your shop with this. But for a hobby shop? It's nice. Having the saw be variable speed is also nice. I can slow the blade down enough that a 14/16 tpi blade won't melt PVC as it cuts it. Try that with any other saw. I bought mine plain, because I intend on using it. It is heavy gauge plain steel. I put some boeshield on it to keep it from surface rusting, and think it'll be fine that way. The included foot switch is nice, but the cord is a bit short for my purposes. Easy to fix with an extension cord. I did not get the miter gauges, because I'm never a fan of the little miter gauges. Easy enough to bolt or clamp a fence to it. Oh, and this fits the new HF saw just fine. One screw to remove the saw and guide to change blades. That's very fast. I think I may to make some guards for this, at least at the top. Not that I expect the blade to fly off, but being used this way it could come at you, as compared to using the saw right handed free-hand as designed. If you're on the fence about this? Buy it.
